Thanks to ASCI and WISP!

A big thanks to the Adventure Sports Center International and Wisp Resort in McHenry Maryland for making a huge effort to host the ACCC Championships on September 15th and 16th. This is a huge deal for WISP and ASCI as it is the same weekend as Autumn Fest, their busiest weekend of the year.

Saturday will kick off with a Cross Country race out in ACSI territory on the backside of the mountain. After XC concludes Short Track and Super D will take place on the front side of the mountain utilizing 1/3 of the downhill trails on the mountain. Sunday morning will start off with Dual Slalom and end with a gnarly DH race down High Roller and Resurrection.

2011 Mountain Season Has Begun!!

If you are interested in racing mountain bikes or just riding locally with other students make sure to come by our weekly meetings. Check the meetings page for the time and location of the meetings.

The 2011 Collegiate Mountain season will start on September 3rd at Campbell University. We are looking forward to traveling to Dark Mountain in North Wilkesboro, NC to kick off the season at Campbells first hosted race.

Meeting Wednesday 3/16 8pm

Mid-Semester meeting this Wednesday (3/16) at 8pm in the Bluestone room of the Mountain Lair.

A lot will be covered this meeting in regards to the rest of the road season, the home road race, Relay for Life, and fundraising.

2011 Collegiate MTB Nationals in WV!

Timberline Resort in Davis, WV. will host the 2011 Collegiate Mountain Bike National Championships on October 28-30. Read the announcement here from USA Cycling.
